In 2014 the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry created its Champion of Commerce award honoring members of the 108th General Assembly for their exemplary efforts in supporting pro-business policies at the State Capitol. Recipients were selected by the Tennessee Chamber’s Board of Directors based on their favorable voting record on a number of key issues for Tennessee’s business community. The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry greatly appreciates the commitment this collection of legislators have taken towards encouraging the growth of businesses and free enterprise throughout the state of Tennessee. These standout legislators not only ensured significant wins that became law but fought to defeat other proposed legislation that would have been harmful to Tennessee’s business climate. Congratulations to the Tennessee Chamber’s 2014 Champions of Commerce!
