Nominations Open for 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee Contest

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee contest, a statewide competition celebrating the innovation, craftsmanship, and manufacturing excellence that power Tennessee’s economy.

The annual contest highlights the wide range of products made across the Volunteer State—from food and beverages to vehicles, machinery, appliances, and advanced technologies. The initiative showcases the strength and diversity of Tennessee’s manufacturing sector while drawing attention to the high-quality, rewarding careers available across the industry.

Manufacturers, employees, and Tennesseans statewide are encouraged to nominate products that are proudly made in Tennessee. Following the nomination period, submissions will advance through multiple rounds of public voting, culminating in the selection of the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee.

Last year’s competition generated more than 100 product nominations and over 95,000 votes from Tennesseans supporting their favorite homegrown products. The contest is presented through a partnership between the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services.

Nominations will be accepted through June 30 and can be submitted on the Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee website.
